Managers/Supervisors Alliance Overview
This group is made of up industry managers and supervisors who have a vested interest in working together to identify the needs and challenges of MT management, developing resources and standards for managers and supervisors, and exchanging ideas and insights about this important role in the industry. The alliance also develops online continuing education geared toward business management and works to strengthen PPN resources for managers/supervisors.

Leadership and Volunteer Opportunities
Medical transcription leaders are welcome to communicate via our e-mail listserv, asking questions of each other and sharing tools, best practices, and lessons learned.
The alliance is led by a steering committee that focuses on development of an annual managers and supervisors webinar series, as well as a three-hour managers and supervisors workshop held each year at AHDI ACE. Alliance members are encouraged to submit their ideas and to offer their assistance to the steering committee at any time. We need your input to create webinars and workshops that are current, relevant, and practical for leaders in health care documentation organizations.
The Managers and Supervisors Alliance often seeks volunteers to work on initiatives such as developing best practices, standards recommendations, or implementation toolkits for use by leaders in health care documentation organizations. These special projects are often initiated through discussions on the listserv or through conversations among our members at AHDI events. We invite you to become part of the conversation and share your ideas for advancing our profession.
