What is it?

The eSource for Healthcare Documentation Instructors is a resource created by the AHDI eSource task force, comprised of members of the 2012 AHDI Model Curriculum task force. All participants in this project are educators and understand the challenges of finding new ways to teach the material in the model curriculum. This is a compilation of resources for instructors to use when teaching courses that follow the AHDI Model Curriculum. Included in this resource are teaching tips and ideas for every objective in the curriculum, sample discussion questions, and many more resources to help make your job as an instructor easier!

Quarterly Updates

The eSource for Healthcare Documentation Instructors will be updated quarterly. Your purchase entitles you to a one-year subscription to these updates automatically.

Additional Resources

In addition to the eSource, you will gain access to our online community of educators as well as additional resource materials using the Moodle platform. Here’s where the document comes alive as educators gather to discuss their thoughts and ideas and share additional resources. Think of this additional benefit as an academy for instructors where we can learn and grow together. Join this group and hop on board with us as we poke the box, in the fashion of author Seth Godin, to find new and exciting ways to educate our students. Access to the Moodle platform will be available on the first day of the month following purchase of the eSource. An email will be sent with instructions on how to access the Educators Community Project on the AHDI Moodle platform.

After purchasing the eSource, go to "Member Center" and click "My Account" to access and download the files electronically. It may take up to one hour to be able to access the documents online.
