Standards of Practice
AHDI’s volunteers and professional experts work with industry partners and healthcare leaders to establish standards for healthcare documentation. Standards exist to promote consistency, clarity, and accountability in any profession. They have the potential to shape quality outcomes for patient care documentation and to promote patient safety, continuity of care, and maximized reimbursement.
Please refer to AHDI's position papers here for the association's official position on these and other related issues.
