Welcome to AHDI-WA, your professional state medical documentation component association!

AHDI-WA is our new name. We were formerly WAMT (Washington Association for Medical Transcription). Our new name reflects the new name change of our parent organization AHDI from the former name of AAMT (American Association for Medical Transcription).

The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) is the world's largest organization working to advance health data capture and documentation by setting standards for education and practice in the field of medical transcription.editing.

All AHDI members residing in Washington state are automatically members of AHDI-WA. The AHDI-WA Board of Directors and Partners are happy to serve our members in Washington through promotion and support of local component chapters and satellite groups within the state.
