Hi! I am Jill McCarty, CMT, and 2009 INKY President-Elect. I began my career as a medical transcriptionist in 1990, and have been employed full-time at Elkhart General Hospital since 1998. I have been married to my wonderful husband John for 16 years and have 3 daughters. I have been a member of AHDI since 2007, at which time I was inspired to attain my CMT credential. Although I am new to the INKY board, I am honored to be given the opportunity to serve as President-Elect. My goal is to assist in the advancement of a qualified healthcare documentation workforce by reaching out to area MTs and encouraging professional organization involvement in our rapidly growing and evolving industry. |
