Our regional association serves as the ”voice” of New England and the Northeast through its delegate at the national level of AHDI and through its volunteer state lobbyists at the Annual Lobby Day in Washington, D.C.

There are two local state chapters in the Northeast/AHDI—Granite State Chapter in New Hampshire and the Pine Tree Chapter in Maine. We are funded and supported through the efforts of its local chapters.

Membership in Northeast/AHDI is included as part of a member’s national dues or fees. A newsletter is available to its membership four times a year. Our friendship and fellowship has no borders—we are many joined as one—presently just under 400 members strong.

The mission of Northeast/AHDI is to provide information, tools and support to ensure every documentation professional in the transcription industry is empowered to be a responsible advocate with the skills, knowledge and values to contribute with pride to the healthcare industry.
