Session Description

AHDI staff member Kristin Wall will walk attendees step by step through the history, logistics, process, importance, and benefits of becoming a registered healthcare documentation specialist. Tips for success and examples of common mistakes will be outlined in detail.

 

The target audience for this webinar includes those with at least 2 years' experience in acute care or multi-specialty equivalent. Limited registration of 100 seats, first-come, first-served.

About the presenter

Kristin Wall is the senior programs coordinator and Editor-in-Chief of Plexus magazine at AHDI. She co-authored the CMT Exam Guide: A Walk Through the Blue Print and Quality Medical Editing for Healthcare Documentation Specialists. She has been a freelance copyeditor for numerous medical transcription and style-related texts, having a meticulous eye for detail. She has over 19 years’ experience in the healthcare documentation industry, enjoys mentoring and “paying it forward,” and has been a speaker at a variety of local, state, and national AHDI conferences and credentialing study groups.
