Our facility uses the "no trailing zeros after decimals" rule. Does this also apply to pathology measurements, i.e., the lesion is 3.0 x 2.3 x 0.1? Cannot locate information in BOS to help determine.Would appreciate help. Thanks.

Diagnostic tests, laboratory findings, comparison studies, and even measurements that must be expressed precisely need the number after the decimal, even if it is zero.

Hi.  I work in a pathology department.  I am wondering if you do too.  It would be nice to correspond with you.  Please e-mail me at cbdouty@yahoo.com, if you are interested in networking.  Thanks.
