How to Sign Up for a Practice Exam and/or ExamSigning up for your practice exam and/or credentialing exam is a two-step process:
How to Apply for Exam Eligibility
It is $10 to apply for exam eligibility and it will be valid for a period of 180 days from the date of processing.
Log into the AHDI website in order to apply and submit your exam eligibility. Current AHDI members and guest members need to sign into your member record/account. If you do not have a record, register as a guest member or purchase AHDI membership.
Take a Practice Exam
Practice exams are available for both the RHDS and CHDS exam. If you wish to take the nonproctored practice exam before sitting for your credentialing exam, please log into the AHDI website using your account and apply for exam eligibility to purchase the practice exam. You may only purchase a practice exam after you have applied for exam eligibility and received an "Authorization-to-Test" email. The practice exams are available online only through Kryterion (AHDI's testing partner).

After you receive the "Authorization-to-Test" email from AHDI, you can schedule your credentialing exam with Kryterion. You may take the credentialing exam at a Kryterion testing center or online via secure, online proctoring (OLP).
