Dr. Ziebell will present a series of trauma case presentations in order to demonstrate to the audience through pictures and story real life examples of events documented in trauma centers across the US. Please note that the presentation will include photographs of traumatic injuries which may be difficult for some audience members.
Speaker Bio
Christopher Ziebell, MD, FACEP, is the medical director of the emergency department at the University Medical Center at Brackenridge, in Austin, central Texas’s only adult level 1 trauma center. He chairs the EMS steering subcommittee of the Travis County Medical Society. He serves on the Board of Trustees of SETON HealthCare and the Board of Directors of Emergency Service Partners, PLLC. He is president and executive director of Hospital Physicians in Clinical Research, PLLC. He is a Board Certified Emergency Physician, specialty trained at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan, and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.
