Linda Allard, BS, is president of New England Medical Transcription and has worked in the transcription industry since 1987. After spending several years as an at-home transcriptionist, she advanced to become an editor, external auditor, account director, recruiter, human resources director, transcription professor, and vice president of operations. She currently oversees sales and operations at NEMT, managing approximately 250 employees and independent contractors. As a recruiter, HR director and operations chief, she has spent more than 20 years reviewing résumés and applications from both new and experienced MTs.
