AHDI Bylaws
Bylaws are written rules established at the time a company is incorporating or a not-for-profit organization is forming. The rules govern the internal management of the organization and detail such items as the election of directors, role and function of a house of delegates, duties of elected officers, voting criteria, etc. These bylaws can be, and usually are, amended and augmented over time in response to the need for the organization to grow and evolve its role and function.
These bylaws can only be amended through resolution and ratification, with the voting approval of the association’s governing bodies. Any voting member of the association can submit a resolution or proposed amendment for consideration by the association’s House of Delegates and Board of Directors.
